Marine diesel oil filter cross-reference chart (Kubota / WIX / Fram / Fleetguard)
Oil filter cross-reference for Kubota-based marine diesels (Beta, Nanni, Universal) — the Kubota HH150 and HH164 spin-ons and their WIX, Fram, Fleetguard and Mann equivalents.
The Kubota spin-on family
Most small marine diesels in scope — Beta Marine, Nanni and Universal — are Kubota blocks (see the Beta, Nanni and Universal guides). They use just two Kubota spin-on oil filters, and both have wide, cheap aftermarket equivalents. Buy the WIX/Fram/Fleetguard number, not the marine-branded filter.
Small can — Kubota HH150-32430 (Z / D-series, ≈ under 1.5 L)
Fits the smaller Kubota blocks: Z482, Z602, D722, D902, D1005, D1105 and their marine derivatives (Beta 10–30, Nanni 2- and 3-cylinder, smaller Universal).

Notes
- Marine-height matters on the V-series. Some V-series marine installs use a slightly taller can;
WIX lists 51311 / 51515 as taller alternatives to 51307 — check clearance.
- Kubota part numbers supersede (HH150→HH1J0, HH164→HH1C0→HH1C0-…); an older number and its
successor are the same filter.
Confirm the thread and gasket size against your old filter before ordering — a spin-on that threads on can still be the wrong bypass rating. See our Methodology. See also the fuel filter chart.
